Spring is in the air and that means it’s time for our Ladies Open House!
A season filled with this many rides, clinics and special events needs a party to kick things off. Come and check out the latest in women’s cycling fashions, displays by local artists, cycling organizations and get all the updates on our women’s cycling program and social rides.
There will be door prizes, bicycle fitting demonstrations and industry reps on site to discuss new women’s specific products.
And of course it’s not a party without refreshments! Sample delectable nibblies from Taylor’s Tea Room and wash it down with some tasty beverages.
Come by our Ladies Open House and say hello, help us celebrate women in cycling!

Spring is a time for cleansing, renewal and cleaning out the garage. And our annual Bike Swap! Our swap is a great way to make some space in the basement, and put some money in your pocket. If you’re looking for the perfect bike or cycling gear you can find some sweet deals for the season ahead too!
Have some old gear that you think someone else could put to good use? Maybe you’ve realized that the bike you bought on special really DOESN’T fit. Maybe it’s a gift that just didn’t work (sorry Mom & Dad!). Bring your unwanted bikes and gear down to be put into our swap! And browse to see what treasures others have unearthed in their garages.
How does it work?
Simply bring your bike down to us anytime until Wednesday, March 28th. We will check over your bike, assess any necessary repairs, and discuss a selling price with you. (In the event that your bicycle does not sell during the swap, please be aware that you are responsible for any pre-sale repair costs that are incurred). On the day of the swap, March 31st, 2018 we will have all the bikes and gear displayed for people to view, and if your bike/gear is purchased you can redeem 75% of the value in cash, or 100% in store credit. If your bike does not sell you MUST promptly return to pick it up.
Bike shop quality bikes and parts only.
Come on down, sell some of your gear and pick up a great riding deal for this coming season!
Swap starts at 10:00am sharp!

Saturday, December 2 was Global Fat Bike Day and we celebrated in style! We teamed up with our friends at Turkey Point Mountain Bike Club, gathering at Long Point Eco-Adventures and heading into the trails 63 riders strong. 63!! A few trails in, we raised our flasks in a toast to fat bikes before dividing into groups to hit the trails in earnest. The stoke was high as the “Espresso” and “Decaf” groups made their way through the fantastic trail network, filling the forest with giggles, woohoos and high-fives. After the ride, we topped off the big fat fun with a tailgate party, complete with bbq courtesy of TPMBC. A big fat thanks to those that helped out and everyone that came out to play with us. We’ll see you on the trails!! And if you’re looking for some big fat excitement, Substance Projects will once again be hosting their Fat Turkey Fat Bike race on December 17 at Turkey Point.
